Henry has 16 years’ experience in architecture and construction, gained through roles in architectural practice, multidisciplinary consultancy and project management in both the UK and the UAE.
His career has developed from the technical design and coordination of buildings into the leadership of architectural specifications and the management of complex multidisciplinary projects.
Before joining SpecStudio, Henry led multidisciplinary specification departments and teams in the Middle East, overseeing the development and coordination of architectural and engineering specifications across complex projects. Working closely with architects, developers, operators and specialist consultants, he developed a practical understanding of how design information must evolve from initial concept and material strategy through procurement, construction and final delivery.
As Partner and Managing Director of SpecStudio MENA, Henry is responsible for establishing and leading the company’s regional business. His role encompasses client relationships, business development, operational management and the growth of the MENA team, while maintaining an active involvement in project delivery.
He brings a locally informed perspective to SpecStudio’s international expertise, helping ensure our specification consultancy responds to the region’s design ambitions, procurement routes, regulatory requirements and construction practices.
